Mandala Drum V3: Pressure and Slide Control for Ableton Live

NOTE: THIS REQUIRES ABLETON 12.2 STANDARD OR SUITE. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH LIVE INTRO OR LIVE LITE.

The Mandala Drum V3 is an incredible instrument, capable of sending 13 separate MIDI notes and a huge range of MIDI and MPE expression. However sometimes it is not always desirable to continuously send all Pressure and Slide data, especially when playing shorter notes. This custom Ableton Rack provides a solution and gives much greater control over the MPE modulation features of the Mandala Drum when using it with Ableton Live.

This custom MPE control rack allows you to:

• block all pressure and slide data
• turn the Mandala's Pressure and Slide modulation features ON and OFF independently
• block pressure and/or slide data for shorter notes, only letting it pass for longer notes
• Set the length of note required to pass pressure and/or slide modulation data
• Control the Pressure and Slide Threshold
• Adjust the Pressure and Slide response curves
